On April 21, 2003, comedians and comedy clubs across the country joined together to support the brave men and women of our armed forces.
On that night, participating comedy clubs offered a free comedy performance to benefit the morale of any active military personnel, reservists, veterans, their families and any other proud Americans who needed a little break to have a few laughs.
Donations were collected that night to help support the USO and the VFW's Operation Uplink. Every penny donated went to one of these causes.
