"I received a call from Keith in the early hours of the morning. He is very proud of you for organizing this show. I also spoke with Keith's Maintenance Officer who commented on what a thoughtful brother I have (referring to Keith). I was quick to add that ALL of my brothers are very thoughtful and asked him if Keith had mentioned "Standup for the Troops" to him. Lt. Fagan is impressed with your efforts. Have a great show tonight! You have done a fabulous job of organizing and promoting this event."

"This is a very personal issue for Chris Pierce whose little brother, 1st Lt Steven Pierce with the 101st Airborne is in Iraq right now fighting for freedom. He was able to call home on Friday, April 18th on an MSNBC satellite phone and let his wife know that he will be receiving a purple heart for a gunshot to his arm. The injury was not severe enough to get him sent home, but we are very glad to know that he is okay! As are so many families around the country, Chris is very proud to say that his little brother grew up to be his hero! Come home safe, all of you!"

"As a veteran who spent 28 months in the jungle, I support this 110%. It's easy to be forgotten when you are so far away from home, tired, dirty and scared.
