Here in the Twin Cities, between the Minnesota Comedy Club and the Comedy Gallery at the Radisson, we raised $341 for the USO and $211 for Operation Uplink!

A fire, Sunday night at Dave Wilson's club in Indy has forced them to postpone the Standup for the Troops benefit. Please contact the club for details on the new date. We hope everything turns out okay, Dave!

The shows here in the Twin Cities turned out okay. We were up against some big odds: playoff games for the Wolves and the Wild, it being the Monday after Easter, and it being the first sunny day in almost a week. Thanks to all those who did come out to support the troops!

I will be trying to update the website and check email from the road, but I'm having some trouble getting to the web from my wife's laptop. So please understand if we go a few days without. Worst case scenario is the site won't get updated until Saturday. But I'll do my best to make sure we get it done before then.

Thanks as well to KSTP Channel 5 for having me in for an interview. They said it'd probably air on Monday morning.

Hey everybody: Thanks for your patience. I apologize if we haven't gotten back to you yet, we will soon. Bill Bauer and I have been working on stuff non-stop, so it might take a little while, but we'll get back to you as soon as we can.

Still looking for NYC and Chicago locations. Please let us know if you have any leads!

We're adding clubs every day, however we can still use more! We'd especially like a comedy club in New York City or Chicago to come on board. If anyone has any contacts with rooms in either, please let them know about us.

Keep on letting your friends know about Standup for the Troops. We haven't even hit the media yet, and this event has grown by leaps and bounds! Word of mouth has helped us immensely. Please keep it up!

Thanks to all the clubs and comics who've come onboard in the last 24 hours! A special thanks to the people at www.roadcomics.com for helping to spread the word!

Also, a special "Thank You" to Colleen at the Omaha Funny Bone. She wished us well, and told us about their own fundraiser for the troops that they're doing on April 23rd in Omaha.
